Tremoji (“the App”) is developed and operated by David Bester. This Privacy Policy explains how Tremoji handles information when you use the App.

1. Information We Process

Tremoji does not collect personally identifiable information. The App processes only minimal technical data required for core features:

Device ID: a randomly generated identifier stored on your device and used to link journal entries and reminders.
Push token: created only if you opt in to notifications; used to deliver reminders via the Expo Notification Service.
Donation transactions: processed by the App Store or Google Play. Tremoji does not receive your payment card details.

2. Ads

Tremoji shows ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may process non-personal identifiers (e.g., advertising ID) for ad delivery, frequency capping, and reporting. Learn more in Google’s policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

3. Data Storage

Anonymous app data (device ID and push token) is stored securely in Supabase (Google Cloud infrastructure). No name, email, or contact details are stored.

4. Notifications

If enabled, the App stores your Expo push token and our backend (Supabase) sends reminders through the Expo Notification Service. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

5. Donations

Tremoji offers optional donations. Donations provide no goods, services, or in-app benefits. Processing is handled by Apple or Google.

6. Sharing

We do not sell or share your information except with service providers strictly needed to run the App:

Google AdMob – advertising
Expo / Expo Notification Service – push delivery
Supabase – storage and backend
App Store / Google Play – payments

7. Your Rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, you can request access or deletion of your data. Contact us using the email below. We may ask for limited information to verify the request.

8. Children

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly process data from children under 13.

9. Retention

Anonymous technical data is retained only as long as needed for the App to function and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
